The 11th world Bowls championship 2008 took place from 12-27 January 2008 at Christchurch, New Zealand for both men and women.
Hong Kong team was represented by Ken Chan, Robin Chok, Heron Lau, K.K. Yeung, James Keung. For the women side, the representatives were Peggy Ma, Grace Chu, Winnie Wai, Camilla Leung, and Elizabeth Cormack. The team managers are Stephanie Chung, Sandy Sit and C.M. Chan.
With our overall ranking of 11th for both men and women , the Hong Kong China team duly qualified for the next World Bowls Championship 2012 in Adelaide, Australia.
