Opened to all the young players under the age of 25 who have never won any national tournaments in Hong Kong, the Youth Novice Competition is an annual singles competition supported by the Leisure & Cultural Services Department.
The competition’s format will depends on the number of entries. The results will be used as evaluation criteria for admission to the Hong Kong Youth Team.
