The 8th World Bowls Championship was held in Adelaide Australia between 18th and 31st March 1996.
The Hong Kong team was represented by Noel Kennedy, Willie Lai, Mel Stewart, Ken Wallis and Danny Ho. Team manager was Vincent Cheung.
The Women’s World Bowls Championship was held in Leamington Spa England between 3rd – 20th August at Victoria Park Bowling Green.
The Hong Kong Ladies team comprised of Angela Chau, Rosemary McMahon, Linda Smith, Elizabeth Li and Rosemary Allen. Team manageress was Dani Bishop.
