This World Bowls annual event took place from 7-18 April 2008 at the Warilla Bowls and Recreation Club in New south Wales, Australia. Hong Kong team was represented by Grace Chu and Luis Fernandes. The youth development team participated in the World Junior Cup Singles, wtih representatives being Lee Ka Ho and Cherry Yung.
World Bowls Championship 2008
The 11th world Bowls championship 2008 took place from 12-27 January 2008 at Christchurch, New Zealand for both men and women. Hong Kong team was represented by Ken Chan, Robin Chok, Heron Lau, K.K. Yeung, James Keung. For the women side, the representatives were Peggy Ma, Grace Chu, Winnie Wai, Camilla Leung, and Elizabeth Cormack....
Hong Kong International Classic 2007
The Hong Kong International Bowls Classic 2007 was held from 8-16 December 2007. Hong Kong was represented by Ken Chan and Noel Kennedy. Hong Kong beat Wales in the final and pinched the championship.
China-HK-Macau 2007
To celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hong Kong re-unification to China sovernity, Hong Kong Lawn Bowls Association organized the 2nd China-HK-Macau Lawn Bowls Invitation tournament 2007.
