The Michael Ashton-Phillips International challenge is an annual invitation tournament. This year was held on 13-18 October 2008 at Newport Harbour Lawn Bowling Club and Laguna Beach Lawn Bowling Club at Southern Califormia U.S.A Hong Kong was represented by James Keung and Chadwick Chen.
World Singles Champion of Champions 2008
The World Singles Champion of Champions 2008 took place from 29 August to 6 September 2008 at the Bestburn Park Bowling Complex in Aberdeen Scotland. Hong Kong was represented by Camilla Leung. She passed through the qualifying rounds and lost to host country player in quarter-finals.
