We received inquiries about different scenarios of a skip being late in a resumed game
Below is the clarification from VP League.
When a resumed game starts, and the skip is late, one member of the team will take up the skip. The positions of the scorecard should be updated at the start of the resumed game.
If the skip turns up before the game starts, which is defined as “the delivery of the jack by the first player to play in the first end,” she can play skip according to the original line-up.
If the skip turns up after the game starts, she can play in any position, but not the skip, using the updated line-up.
This practice applies to all league games, including regular, rescheduled, or resumed games.
