The 9th British Commonwealth Games were held in Edinburgh, Scotland from 16 July to 25 July 1970.
The Hong Kong team consisted of C.C. Delgado, Abdul R. Kitchell, Roberto E. da Silva, George A. Souza, Eric J. Liddell, Augusto P. Pereira, and Osman Adem. Team manager was H.A. de Barros Botelho.
Hong Kong won a Gold medal in Men’s Fours. The heroes were C.C. Delgado, A.R. Kitchell, R.E. da Silva, and G.A. Souza.
