Asian Bowls 2001

The Inaugural Asian Bowls Championship took place from 17-23 June 2001 at Hong Kong Football Club and Craigengower Cricket Club in Hong Kong.

In addition to the host country Hong Kong, the six countries that sent men’s and ladies teams for the tournament were Brunei, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore and Thailand.

At the end of the Championship, the Malaysian team was in first overall. Hong Kong cam second.
