康樂及文化事務署(本署)一向重視在社區推動普及體育，並於每年8月舉辦全民運動日。今年的「全民運動日2025」將於8月3日（星期日）舉行，本署以「日日運動半個鐘 健康快樂人輕鬆」為口號，並以「全城齊運動 全民撐全運」作主題，一來鼓勵市民養成恆常運動的良好習慣，促進身心健康，二來亦響應第十五屆全國運動會和全國第十二屆殘疾人運動會暨第九屆特殊奧林匹克運動會。活動當日，全港18區指定體育館將舉辦多項免費康體活動，本署轄下大部分康樂設施亦會開放，供市民免費使用。
