Contribution:  As Vice President – International:

  • Secured official recognition of lawn bowls as a Tier B Sport by the Hong Kong Sports Institute (HKSI) in 2013, unlocking over HK$16 million over the years in sustained funding to strengthen the sport
  • Initiated athlete applications for the Sports Aids Grant (SAG), providing financial support through HKSI, supporting over 80 athletes with more than HK$7 million over the years to recognize their dedication and achievements.
  • Introduced overseas coaching, sports science (physical and psychological training), and regular local and overseas training programs.
  • Established the High Performance Committee to professionalize squad management.
  • Achieved the only overall Team Champion title (Men’s and Ladies’ teams) in LBA’s Asia Bowls history.
  • Celebrated numerous medals at World, Asia Pacific, and Asia levels.

 

As Vice President – Development:

  • Launched successful overseas sports exchange programs and training camps, engaging over 170 Youth Development Team (YDT) athletes in visits to Australia (South Australia, Queensland, Western Australia, and New South Wales), Scotland, England, Malaysia, Japan, and China.
  • Celebrated international youth achievements: World Junior Mixed Pairs Champion
  • World Junior Singles –1st Runner-Up, 2nd Runner-Up
  • Junior Golden Nuggets Champion
  • Asia Bowls Junior Singles and Mixed Pairs Champion
  • National accolades include Bowler of the Year and numerous national titles (Singles, Pairs, Fours, 2-4-2, Indoor events).
  • Elevated both Boys’ and Girls’ Teams to 1st Division in the Premier League.
  • Played a key role in securing hosting rights for the World Bowls Cup 2026 (formerly World Bowls Championship 2024) and World Junior Championship 2024.
  • Spearheaded school promotion programs reaching over 1,750 students in 2024–25.
  • Hong Kong International Bowls Classic Organizing committee from 2009 to 2025, responsible for all international invitation
