The Hong Kong International Bowls Classic started in 1981 for men and 2009 for women. With the dedicated effort from the organizers, the Hong Kong Classic had been recognized as one of the most prestige outdoor international events in the World Bowls annual calendar. Over the years, there has been many overseas...
In addition to the league and national competitions, the Lawn Bowls Association of Hong Kong, China will organize an international tournament, the International Bowls Classic, annually to provide opportunities for local players to compete against top players from around the world.
Other events are also arranged on an ad-hoc basis, such as the China-Hong Kong-Macau tournament and some fundraising events.
Affiliate clubs also work with the Association to arrange special tournaments for the bowls community to mark special occasions.
