Recently, we received a complaint regarding a player smoking during a match at a public green. While the Championships Panel has decided to issue a warning to the player involved, we would like to take this opportunity to remind all players to observe the house rules of every venue.<\/p>\n

According to the Leisure and Cultural Services Department\u2019s Conditions of Use for Leisure Facilities, smoking is strictly prohibited in all LCSD sports venues. At private venues, smoking in public pleasure grounds is also prohibited unless a designated smoking area is clearly provided.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
We would like to remind all players to comply with the relevant laws and venue regulations\u2014not only concerning smoking but in all aspects of conduct\u2014to avoid any further controversy.<\/p>\n
