Please be informed that Geoffrey Harold Murphy passed away on Wednesday 18 July 2012 at the age of 82.<\/p>\n

Geoffrey was the President of HKLBA (1979-82) and Chairman of the first Classic Organising Committee in 1981.\u00a0 He was also selector for a number of international events and Team Manager for events such as the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton and Brisbane and also various World events.<\/p>\n
Geoffrey was member of KBGC and a dedicated bowler who contributed greatly towards Bowls in Hong Kong.<\/p>\n
His funeral will be on Thursday 26th<\/sup> July at 2.00 pm at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 45 Pitt Road, Burpengary, Queensland, Australia.
