The Hong Kong International Bowls Classic started in 1981 for men and 2009 for women.\u00a0 With the dedicated effort from the organizers, the Hong Kong Classic had been recognized as one of the most prestige outdoor international events in the World Bowls annual calendar.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Over the years, there has been many overseas spectators and supporters came to the Classic but found not much to do apart from watching bowls, shopping and sightseeing.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Having borne this in mind and after talking to spectators and supporters both overseas and locally, the organizers had done studies in the availability of venues and attractions to visitors, the inaugural Classic Carnival<\/strong> was successfully launched in November 2015.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n <\/span><\/p>\n Dates of the 2016 Classic Carnival will be, tentatively, 2nd<\/sup>-8th<\/sup> November 2016.\u00a0 Format of the Carnival will be Fours or Mixed Fours and participating teams will be drawn into groups for round-robin games.
