{"id":18558,"date":"2014-06-05T01:41:19","date_gmt":"2014-06-04T17:41:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/clarification-on-registered-players-issued-on-050614\/"},"modified":"2024-03-09T08:04:59","modified_gmt":"2024-03-09T08:04:59","slug":"clarification-on-registered-players-issued-on-050614","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/clarification-on-registered-players-issued-on-050614\/","title":{"rendered":"Clarification on registered players (Issued on 05\/06\/14)"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div class=\"im\" style=\"font-family: arial,sans-serif; font-size: 12px;\">\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The league panel received a query on registered players and would like to issue a clarification.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Background:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"im\"><span style=\"font-size: small;\">X is a bowler in club (e.g.HKFC).<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In week 01 (1\/5), he played in HKFC-A.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In week 02 (8\/5), he is away and did not play any game. HKFC-A played the game as scheduled. HKFC-B had not started their game on 8\/5 and rescheduled it to 30\/5.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In week 03 (15\/5), X played for HKFC-A.<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Just before week 04 game on 22\/5, HKFC-A submitted the registered player list including X. Thus X was a registered player of HKFC-A.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Query<\/span>:<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">X did not play for HKFC-A on 8\/5, can he play for HKFC-B in the reschedule game on 30\/5?<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"im\" style=\"font-size: 12px;\">\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Clarification from League Panel:<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">1) Bye-law 3.6.a \u201cThe convenors shall register &#8230; its players, before it plays its fourth league match in any league season. \u2026\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\"> Therefore, once the fourth league match starts (after delivery of the first jack), the registered player is effective immediately.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">2) Bye-law 3.6.b \u201cA registered player shall not play for another side which is a lower ranking side\u2026\u201d<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Registered player is not allowed to play in any lower ranked games which starts after the registration of player is effective.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">In this case, X is a registered player effective on 22\/5<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">The rescheduled game started on 30\/5, thus X was not allowed to play in the rescheduled game.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Please note that if week 02 game started on 8\/5 and suspended, X was an original player of HKFC-B on 8\/5, he was allowed to play in the resumed game on 30\/5.<\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><span style=\"font-size: small;\">Best regards, Cyril<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The league panel received a query on registered players&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[586],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-18558","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-memorandum-zh-hant","article-list-item","animate"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18558","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/15"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=18558"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/18558\/revisions"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=18558"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=18558"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.bowls.org.hk\/zh-hant\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=18558"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
